Maesfen
Extremely Old Nag!
Haven't put any of the boys for ages so thought I better get my finger out!
They're now 12 weeks old, seems they have been here forever and they're real characters too. We're now down to six feeds a day of their milk and a couple of Suregrow and a foal mix. They still come in at night as they are still on their own in the field (although next to the others) as I don't have anything I can trust enough to turn out with them; once they have finished being fed the milk, then we might try them in with the mares and foals.
Freddy is losing his baby coat big time and is going a nice shade of bay but Freddy is hanging on to his; my vet says he has a donkey coat!
It will be interesting to see what he'll be underneath but I think he is going to be very dark, he also has grey hairs in his tail.
I was sitting on a bucket taking these so they had to come and find out what I was doing and then nearly knocked me off my perch! Excuse the second video (they're both like watching paint dry, I can't get them motivated to move out of walk!
) only thing I had to shoo them off was my feet and I don't know how to edit it!
