Free Ponies.... are back

There are some serious inconsistencies with that woman. I distinctly remember reading on one of her many fb comments that she needed all of the 'mums' to bring in insurance docs and also that she needed all passports bringing in for the council. Now all of a sudden she is saying that she is shocked because someone has reported her about it today and that she can't afford to passport them all. Screams of habitual liar!!

Hi no I wasn't aware of that thread, thanks for passing it along. I was not told anything about strangles by this girl and my intention was purely to help the horses that I saw there, I felt awful after seeing them and wanted to help in some small way. I don't believe owner had given me truthful knowledge of her horses. Have removed the ad now. Thanks again.

It's sad but peoples' attempts to help are possibly misguided. The lady who placed the ad was clearly genuinely moved by the horses' plight, but then realised she didn't know the whole story. :(

The owner of FoC seems to think the reason the authorities and welfare organisations are onto her in due to some sort of personal vendetta. On her facebook page she says, "who could hate me this much? what did I ever do...????"

It's a shame that she thinks it's all about her rather than people being concerned about horse welfare and the safety & legality of her establishment. I doubt anyone's out to get her, :rolleyes: they probably just want to help the horses.

However she also says she's in touch with "charity rescue centres who have lots of money" so we can only hope this is true and they re-home the poor things properly.

.just hope to God no one rings me up with a sob story!.........can I say NO....I have yet to find out!
