Midget yellow labrador called Cindy, 14 months old partially trained gundog.

Size: Half the size of any normal labrador
Eats: Anything. Patio furniture is a current favourite

Likes: Anyone, and chasing other dogs. Whining

Hates: Coming to call.

The midget disgraced herself at the weekend. After dioing so well retrieving last week she was soooo naughty on Saturday. First off, she chewed our garden furniture apart. Then she was taken out wood pigeon shooting. She proceeded to chase our friend gundog, Chisel, around the entire field and refused to come to call

She has now also starting whining/whinging whilst in the car and waiting on the retrieve. We think she may have picked this up from Chisel who is terrible for it.
I'm hoping we can get the whining to stop otherwise she will really be looking for a new home.

Now you don't mean that do you

Come on - they all have off days, even the old timers sometimes run me ragged on a drive!

Athough the whining is a nightmare - my lab does it (although usually only on the first drive now). Some people say they don't even know they are doing it themselves but you could try squirting water at her from a Jiff lemon bottle and try and nip it in the bud early.

My lab would have made a good Field Trialler but with the whining there's no hope

Does that mean you'll take her

We're going to work on the whining and see how she goes this weekend. She only ever did it as a pup then all of a sudden done it after being out with Chisel who is terrible for it.

I am very fond of her though. I think she has the makings of a great dog, it's just getting her there!
If I could be *really* bothered I think she'd be good enough for field trialling. She's so bl**dy quick too! You wouldn't believe the speed of her!
