hi my mum needs to find good homes for border collie pups they are kcreged
and free ,,,so if you can collect before friday give her a call 07833371696,,this is not a wind up they are free.

Oh well....they will get fab homes then!!, got to be out by friday, coming up to Christmas!! why free, you dor ealise this means they could end up with just anybody? it's bad enough people shell out fortunes for dogs then discard without getting them for free, they could end up anywhere:confused:

Sorry bad morning in regard to dealing with situations frighteningly similar to this, ending up wit the said given away puppy doing a runner and being hit by 3 cars with neither party wanting to take responsibility, leaving the dog where?? dumped:mad:

I think you would do better to charge atleast something, or hand them to a rescue where they can be rehomed responsibly with back up! obs not mine we are full to the brim:rolleyes:

Agreed ^^ them being free isn't what concerns me, its the dolling them out on the forum, without even a hint of "great permanant homes a must"... sad sad state of affairs.

What is with this...:(

OP, I am assuming you are quite young from your spelling and grammar so am not cross with you because I think this is down to your parents, but I think that this is very irresponsible. Where on earth have the pups come from?

So what are you all saying? That on this forum you are not all dog lovers, anyone that is not a dog lover need not apply yes they have to go to loving homes,no time to sell as mums personal cirumstances do not allow, due to cancer, hope you all feel better now.dont text or email just ring my mum direct, this is hard enough for my mum as it is.

can i ask where abouts in Kent your mum is? I may be interested in having one but depends on where abouts as Kent is quite a large county. Also how old are the pups and what sexes and colours are they?

yes all timewaisters, can't believe what people are like. 3 have already gone to loving homes,so there are 3 left,
we can only do our best in finding excellent homes for these pups,

I don't think that's what they're saying at all. It's very unfortunate and sad about you're mum, my best wishes to you that she recovers, but if you re read your post, it does come across as if the bitch has just been put in whelp and not much thought into homes has been considered. People can only react to what they can see, that's all.

There are several people on here who work for rescues or as rescues and it's hard when there are a lot of dogs in rescue situations, I got some negative views on a planned litter with homes lined up.

They only have the dog's best interests at heart, being dog lovers

I hope you find loving permanent homes for your puppies :)

ETA: posted this the same time as OP's post!

Hefty deposts soon identify the timewasters, unless of course they had money to waste. Your poor mum.

Well good luck with homing them. Do vet the buyers and don't let them go to just anyone.

Perhaps if you put some more information in your opening post, people wouldn't feel the need to ask? Best wishes to your Mother.

Agree that people react to what is put infront of them, and with so liitle info put in your opening post this leads people to make assumptions. Added to the fact that so many litters are bred in the run up to xmas. What I don't quite understand is why a quick ad would not find homes, a local farmer put an ad in for his working pups the other day, all of them sold within a day at a price of £130 each! added to that people travelled 2 hrs plus to get one!! I couldn't believe how quickly they went! (maybe they just had very good breeding?) but if you are desperate for homes, then rather than giving away please try and get them into a rescue to be rehomed at lesuire with possibly more scrutiny on the homes? The kennel club should be able to put you in contact with your local collie rescue, who maybe able to help, otherwise try the local rspca or any other rescue's you can get contacts for, unfortunately with the economic climate and abandonments etc, most shelters are full to the brim though.

Good luck, and wish your mother well. x
