Two year old 11.2 chestnut mare. Lots of attitude, wary of strangers but fine once she gets to know you. Has the most beautiful little nose you just want to kiss, although you'd be lucky to get close enough to do it. Has fantastic potential as a pony club pony, would excel in SJ and proves this on a daily basis as she clears the electric fencing in her paddock with ease. Lots of speed so gymkhana is a must, can turn on a sixpence, again this is demonstrated daily on going to catch her. Very independent lady who can be turned out on her own (read, you can take every bloody horse on the whole yard in so she cannot see or hear anyone else and she doesnt give a stuff) but will settle in to a herd with ease. Will plant herself on the spot if she does not want to come in, but this can be solved by backing her up the lane to the yard, just ignore the strange looks from passers by. Would also make a fantastic endurance pony as she has proved from hours chasing her round the field. Again, she does a beautiful extended trot and could be schooled in dressage, has a fantastic outline, this has been shown when she was followed closely by the quad bike on one attempt to catch her, we gave up when it got dark. This mare is extremely smart, she proves this each time we work out a tactic to catch her or keep her in her paddock, it works once and then you try it again she wont fall for it.
In short a very strong willed mare who will give you hours of keep fit chasing her round the field, the odd pulled arm socket from racing off just as you grab her headcollar and lots of hours problem solving trying to work out a way to keep her in a small paddock and make her more catchable.
First to catch her can have her. Dont bother bringing food, lassoos, rope or friends to catch her, corner her, herd her or bribe her, we've tried it all
