"I am being forced to give up my much loved German Shepard. He's 14
months old and the most gorgeous animal i've ever come across.He is a wonderful dog.
He needs someone that is a dog lover as he needs grooming at least 3x a week due to his long coat and alot of attention as he's a big soft bear. I have two very young children who he has never been a problem with. Only thing to concider is his size and bread...he needs training on a lead better and he will chew things.
Otherwise he is the perfect pet.
I am extremely upset to give him away so only actual pet lovers that will take care of him and love him like we do."

Being more serious my local Freecycle don't allow animals to be added to the listing so I'm suprised this one has been allowed .

It's Cheltenham freecycle - they sometimes run polls asking if people want it to continue to allow animals on there and people always seem to vote yes There are always dogs, cats, rabbits etc and more recently the odd horse/pony has started to pop up

So presumably they did not realise that he would grow up into a GSD size dog that needed grooming , training and attention. Ye gods why don't these people just buy a stuffed toy!

I've sent her a message asking if its neutered and a link to a GSD rescue page but I expect he will be snapped up by someone, hopefully a nice person not someone after a cheap dog who doesn't put any thought into it.
