Freedom of speech or encitment?

I lived in a muslim country for a short while, obviously the wars were discussed. Many of the lads i spoke with thought that the UK population were 100% behind the conflicts and were Muslim haters. So i threw my shoes at them and stormed off :D

Actually when someone showed this to me at work I thought it must be a spoof - because it conforms to just about ALL of the Daily Wail's prejudices! Surprised they haven't described them as dole queue scroungers just to complete the set!

Actually I was there yesterday so saw and heard MAC first hand. Their behaviour was disgraceful, disrespectful and they should have been arrested for what they did. Yes there were muslims in the war however these muslims were showing them no respect whatsoever. Thank heavens some of the papers have reported it because alot of their protests never come to the general publics eye. The facebook page with over 400,000 showing their disgust at this behaviour was ''removed''. Have you read any articles today from muslims disagreeing with the burning of poppies? Same as when they burnt our flag and the American flag outside the US embassy on 9/11.. oh and lets not forget Wooton Basset.
By the way they are going to London again Sunday to disrupt rememberance again...
If these muslims get their way we wall all live under a flag of Islam ......

Going to school where I did, it was very multicultural as is a lot of places in the UK.
Muslims, African/Carribean, Asians whatever we were we got along for the most part and for a short while one of my closest friends was a Muslim girl.
Yes there are extreamists, as are there in every religeon. These people should've been arrested and charged with racism as would any other group who comited an act like this.

I think it's disgusting that England doesn't get rid of people like this, but instead tolorates them out of fear.
They say they have a saviour, but it seems to me like they'll be the first ones going to hell.
Believe me I'm not patriotic at all, but the war is a subject I have 100% respect for and always will, whatever religeon or race the soldiers were in any country, they all fought for their country and they deserve the up most respect.

P.S: I aplogize for my spelling, stupid spell checker doesn't work D:

What I find worrying is that tomorrow, when they disrupt the service at the cenotaph, there will be a load of EDL and BNP there to take the law into their own hands and so carries on this cycle of hatred. Each group will be expressing their views as they are permitted to do in our free society - which is a free society, thanks in many parts to those we should be remembering tomorrow!
While these extremists are allowed to get away with inciting racial hatred (that's what it is - you can't say it a a peaceful, legal, protest) then there will be more extremists who join the BNP and similar groups. And so the cycle begins to spiral outwards.
We need to remember that this is British law and it is one law for EVERYONE! No matter if you are black, white, gypsy, or whatever religion - inciting racial hatred is a crime and they should have been arrested. As a no doubt a christian would have been if they had burnt a copy of the Kuran (sp?!) at a muslim ceremony.

i was going to write a long and thoughtfull reply, but what is the point, we as a nation are so tollorent of others, no matter what little regard they have for us or our way of life, remember that teacher in morocco who called a teddy mohamed? if as suggested above someone burnt the kuran at a muslim ceremony, i am sure public exicution would have been there answer, not a police escort back to the tube.
freedom of speach is a right in this country but surley there banners and boards that read 'british soldiers burn in hell should have been confiscated' they bring hatred and racism on them selves, i think this must be what they want

I also think thoUgh that the vast majority of the UK population take them for what they are, idiots. What gets most peoples backs up IMO is the fact that they are allowed to get away with it.
