Freejump Stirrups.... What is the different between the Pro and Lite stirrups apart from the price? Also, if they do snap, do they replace for free of have you just spent £200 for nothing? Also, do you have to buy the free jump stirrup leathers or do normal leathers work?
Thanks,

We have some 'Free Jump' irons & yes they do work with normal leathers but but are better with their own leathers. (Their own leathers are a kind of webber leather)

One of our irons broke, the tread started to come apart. We sent it back to the shop we bought it from & they sent it back to Free Jump. It took weeks & weeks for it to eventually be returned (I think Free Jump are in France). It had been repaired, not replaced, but done well. To be honest I think the service from Free Jump was poor considering we'd spent quite a sum on the irons & leathers. Daughter who rides in them does however love them & considers them to be the best irons she's ever riden in & shye's tried ost out over the years.

I don't know what they would do if you actually snap the side of the iron, I suppose it depends on the circumstances of how it happened & also what their guarantee says?

The Lite versions are for children, I think? They're not made to take as much weight as the Pro - very annoying, as I just exceed they're recommended weight limit for the Lite, and the Pro doesn't come in that nice, light blue!
