Hi everyone,

Does anyone know anyone in the South Bristol, North Somerset area who might be able to help me ? I keep my horse and pony at home which is great but its a nightmare when you just need someone else to help out occasionally. My OH is too busy and I don't like putting on friends too often, so does anyone know of any freelance grooms who work in this area?

I went round the local tack shops last week and picked up 3 numbers, out of which 2 don't work and the other person has moved to a different area.....so not having much luck!!

Would be very grateful for any help thanks
 
Can't think of any but did you put a wanted advert in the tack shops?

Trade it may be a good place to ask and thete is a Facebook page for local wanted adverts.

How much and roughly how often do you want help?

Thanks for your replies, I am about 10 mins from Bristol airport and about the same from J21 of M5.

I haven't tried a wanted ad so that is a possiblity thanks.

The amount of help varies really, its things like someone to look after them if we go away for the odd weekend, possibly help with exercise depending on their experience, also soon I am hoping to take horse out to some dressage so would need someone to come out with us at least for the first few outings.. .

I used to have a horsey neighbour and we helped each other but she has put her horse on loan now so I'm really missing her help

I think you'll be near Murphy's tack shop? Have a look in there as there are often notices from people advertising that type of service. You could also call Equicraft too as I'm sure they will know people who do that too
