Hoping you guys can help me out, i'm starting out/ re kinding an old venture and am working my final week in my 'normal job' :O And from next week i'll be back out in the equine world freelancing :O
I've got a flexible contractor job lined up which will pay the bills for now whilst I expand this avenue; I've worked out my costs and and have a draft price list but before I finalise it want to guage whether i'm in the right area. (just for info I was a freelance groom for several years out of college so have a good idea of the industry standards but have been out of the game for about 5 years :O)
I'll post my proposals shortly but want to see your ideas first.
I can offer;
All yard work
Pulling
Plaiting
Clipping
Exercising
Show turnout & on the day grooming (including sole or shared driving if necc)
Have full HGV (CPC & Digi Card)
And fully insured for all of the above.
Looking for your opinions on charges for any of the above, but also what you would pay as an hourly rate, half day rate, full day rate.
