Have someone coming to help over Summer on freelance basis. I am their first 'freelance' client so thought I best make sure we both understood the same thing by 'freelance'!! What insurance to you have or would you recommend in an ideal world.

Thanks!!!

I use a freelance groom when we go away and our usual housesitter can't come. She has her own insurance but uses our equipment. Have never used one on a more permanent basis though.

I have employers' liability via my house insurance. I've never had to use it but it's good to know it is there

I would expect my groom to have her own insurance for injury, loss of earnings, etc as she works freelance.
