Does anyone know of any good sympathetic ones?
Im quite a nervous rider and im just bringing on my 3 year old and need some lessons!
Does anyone know if Anne Ratcliffe still teaches? and if so have they got her number/email address??
or any other good instructers?
thanks

Might be a daft question but you're nervous trying to bring on a 3 yo?
Not that there's anything wrong with either a nervous rider or a 3 yo, but just not together. I would suggest you find someone more confident to work your 3 year old, you get some lessons on something thats a confidence giver, and then move onto your youngster, and then you'll both end up happy, it would be awful if you lost your confidence from stuff that 3 year olds do generally, or get hurt...!
have a think about it.....
xx

i know its silly... thats why i took along time looking for a pony... the cob in the signature is my 3 year old, and i have backed him myself and he walks in the school doing figures of 8 etc and has just started trotting, i need help when he starts napping... only because i dont know what to do for best whether to smack him or try and let him see sense... he is in no way a flighty pony, infact i would feel happy of someone quite young to walk round on him... i do appreciate what you are saying though x

Depends what you want really and where you are. If you want help with handling the horse and then help bringing it on and riding it with lessons for yourself then Barry and Gill Meningen at www.ldequestrian.co.uk in Little Downham would be good, if you want lessons (on your own horse) with a very sweet, gentle, sympathetic and knowledgeable instructor then Sandra Matthews-Brown near Coveney would be ideal.

That's if you're located north of Ely though!
