Freelance riding Instructors? Surrey!

Hi, I hope i'm hoping in the right area.

I wondered what freelance riding instructors you would recommend, I like to do a little bit of everything but my lad is still quite green.

I have had a few lessons with different people but they all seem to decide they are not freelancing any more or just never contact again, so I am really looking for someone reliable.

Shepperton/Chertsey area.

You could try Maria Windsor or Steve Banting - depends on what you want. PM me if you need numbers but both are on the BHS instructor's database. Or Tony Whipps if you want a really good technical and classical grounding.

If you're looking for an excellent flatwork trainer (she competes BD and has also showjumped to an international level, but doesn't jump herself any more) I highly recommend Chelsea Evans. She's based in Farnham, has a nice arena or can come to you.

She isn't really an instructor - she's more of a trainer - looks at the whole combination, likes to get her round who you both are . . . to understand what you feed, how you manage, etc. to get a true picture.

She's supportive, fair, reads a horse beautifully and is extremely professional and reliable.
