Freezemark - hair hasn't grown back?

Blue had his freezemark done on his shoulder (dark skin, brown fur) in February this year, it swelled up, scabbed off, and now its bald with white hairs around the edges, like an outline?

I actually quite like it like that think it looks quite cool

But why hasn't the hair grown back white all over?

I think it may be because they held the irons on a bit too long. If you've got a grey they hold them on longer so the hair doesn't grow back and you can see the mark.

Happened to one of mine, think the irons were left on too long. Nothing can be done now.

What you've got is a bald mark, rather than a freezemark. Irons must have been held on too long and killed the hair follicle rather than just the pigment. Greys are marked that way.

Hmm lucky for the white hairs as an outline then or it wouldn't be that noticeable!

Will try to take a photo at the weekend and post it on here, looks clearer now i have clipped it.
