Freezemark Ltd or Farmkey?

Hi - I am looking at getting my horse freezemarked but not sure which company to use - are they both just as good as each other or is one company much better than the other for service both at the time of freezemarking and for tracing horses should they get stolen?

Please can I have your recommendations or experiences.

Also is anyone interested in having theirs done at the same time if I arrange a day in South Glos?

I would say that both are as good as each other in respect to service, however the freezemark done by freezemark took first time and was very clear. The freezemark done by farm key had to be redone on both horses that technician had done that day.... the redone mark is still not clear..... I was not impressed

Lady had hers done by Farmkey when she was about 1year old, so i dont know how it went because i didnt have her then, shes 19years old now, its readable and clear but the D looks a little like an 0

We used Farmkey. Found them good in all respects

Marks are clear and took first time. Technician was very good, even when LL decided he'd had enough (he can be a bit of a bobber about odd things). We had Dizz sedated, but for the clipping part - she doesn't yet do clipping

I used Farmkey, no complaints and no re-visit needed.

I used Farmkey - no problems at all - efficient, cheerful technician who dealt calmly and patiently with a stroppy mare who didn't want to stand still.
