I'm the secretary of Sandwell Horsewatch (based in West Bromwich for those who have no idea where Sandwell is - lucky you!)

I'm looking to organise a Freezemarking session with Farmkey for May (or thereabouts) time to be held in West Bromwich.

The more horses marked the cheaper the price.
Single Horse £55.95
2-4 Horses £47.95
5-9 Horses £43.95
Prices are based on horses freezemarked at a single venue on the same day.
Group bookings
We welcome group bookings and offer unbeatable rates, contact Farmkey to find out how you can pay as little as £31.95 to secure the safety of your horse.

We also get £5 discount for all members of Horsewatch. The yard we mark on are usually happy to have people box to them for Freezemarking as it will reduce the price for all of our members as well.

If anyone is interested please contact me for more information

Please note that without a Freezemark if your horse is stolen the chance of recovering him or her is VERY SLIM. It would just be a matter of someone being in the right place at the right time. Crime figures recently confirm that fact.

October 2006 23 Stolen (including 2 Freezemarked)
2 Found (the Freezemarked)

November 2006 7 stolen (none Freezemarked)
0 Found

December 2006 9 stolen (none Freezemarked)
6 recovered during this month.

PS if you are local to me & want to join Horsewatch we only charge £3.00 per year regardless of the number of horses you own or lock after. For this if your horse is stolen we will notify the Horsewatch network, pay for the costs of posters etc to be distributed nationwide & also contribute to the costs of recovering him or her when found. We also mark tack free of charge for members, plus hold meetings with guest speakers throughout the year. All this for £3.00. Please again contact for more details.

If you are not local but still wish to join Horsewatch, there are various schemes running round the country.

My sister from Bournemouth had her Shetland stolen a while ago. It was freeze branded. Weeks later it turned up at Southall market, London. Someone spotted it outside the sale area because it was freeze branded. It was seized by the police and my sister later collected him.
Thank you ,, with out his freezebrand he would never have been found...
