Hi
Has anybody here ever frozen apples for horses? I am blessed with 8 apple trees which from August to December earn their keep and by this time of the year you cannot walk around them for wind falls! I can only make som nay apple crumbles
.... And the horses really enjoy the apples.. So was wondering if I could freeze them and use the resulting pulp to liven up boring winter food? (horses are both good doers, so only get chaff and hay!) Or does changes happen to a frzen apple that would make it unsuitable for horses?
Thanks
