Just a few questions...

Friend is out in france at the moment and has the potential to share a horse. But neither her nor I have much clue about how sharing works out there. Have given her a breif overview of how it works here but any major diffrences over there?

How does contracts and money work out there?

Thanks in advance :)

Can't speak for all contracts but it's usually done in terms of "Pension" and "Demi pension" which literally translates to "livery" and "half livery", the latter being the most common. (It's not unusal for a pupil at a riding school to have a horse on demi pension for instance). I never came across any major differences because I guess it's down to the individual!

I would agree with the above poster, Pension or demi pension are sometimes offered.
On the other hand, you may be offered a horse for free.....
