Frequently urinating when ridden

Anyone got experience of this? Said horse doesn't excessively drink & his stable is never soaked but this week he is at his worst & stopped say 2-3 times for very long wees not just a little dribble here & there. He has half a tub of water over night & it's hardly touched.. But he wees first thing when turned out & then when ridden, don't often see his wee in his stable.

Any advise welcome will obviously be discussing with vet.. He has always stopped for a wee & pious owners said he's always done this but this week it's worse!

A few of the horses on our yard are like this at the moment, we have put it down to the grass and its sudden growth. It holds a lot of water whereas hay doesn't. Horses are all fine otherwise. My own gelding had to stop for a wee whilst I was riding him last week - he never ever normally does this!

You need to check he has not got a nasty hard ball of nasty yuck stuck inthe end of his penis this happens to my gelding and that what he does twice the vet came and pushed it out last time I was brave and got it myself.

My horse doesn't pee anywhere except in the stable ! First thing he does when goes in at night and as soon as I get to the yard in the morning he does it again. Think I may start to try and catch it in a bucket
