Incredible, a superbly bred (and beautiful) stallion comes to the UK and gets his balls cut off
The misery continues.

Whilst I can appreciate your frustration with this scenario I'm sure there were other factors that led to this decision.
Maybe the owners loved the horse so much that when they decided to close the stud they took the decision to geld the horse & keep him rather than sell him?
i have a 5 month old foal from freshman B.
there was a falling out between the stud and his owner. he was then sent to Brendons briefly i am led to believe then gelded about October 2007. it is a shame as he was a lovely stallion and definately threw a good foal. i believe that he is still with his original owner
There was no falling out, infact owner of Freshman and owner of stud are still friends now, there were other reasons why it was sold and was on the market at the time we had our Oldenburg stallion stood there.
He never came to Brendons, I did the semen collecting before they had the equipment themselves, karen then sold Lockyers as it ahd become too time consuming as a business, and Steven who owns Freshman was just employed by Lockyers, He is now a gelding, never got round to competing?
I have a Freshamn foal too. I have her covering certificate but she is not registered. The Dam has been sold on so I am also look for Leitrim Lady Cruise (ISH)
Can I register my filly KWPN if I can get DNA still from Freshman? Or what can I register as? Seems as waste of a good filly ot to have her registered.
