this is an excellent feed we use it a lot when we need condition all mine have always been fine on it however two people i know who have fed small ponies on it have said it did send them a little loopy ,there is someone on horse gossip forum who makes this feed tehy should be able to tell you stockests sorry dont know who they are but try putting a post on and where you live someone will know
I'd email them and ask - I must say their website is one of the most uninformative feed sites I've seen! It doesn't actually give any hard facts about the feeds at all, not even the MDJE/kg and percentage of protein, fibre, oil that most feed sites do!
When you email ask them to provide you with the following:
Full list of ingredients
% of protein, fibre, oil, starch and sugar
MJDE/kg (calorie count)
What amount do they recommend for a horse the size of yours if relying solely on the feed for vit/min intake.
The more that people contact feed manufacturers for this info, the more likely they are to take the hint and put all the info on their website!
Thanks for the response guys, I did ring yesterday, but Peter was busy, just rung again and he is calling me back! But in the meantime, Ive seen the 'Tiny Tots' conditioning cubes on the website which I might change to.
She is a fussy eater and absolutely LOVES the conditioning mix.
