Friend seeking quality young dressage horse can anyone help!

My good friend has been searching for a well bred young dressage horse but isn’t having much joy can anyone help? She had a backed 3 yr old vetted last week which she tried twice and really liked but the X-rays left some question marks so she walked away. She is a great quiet rider took her other horse from BD prelim to advanced medium before he was retired from competition and she would like to go further with a new one ideally. Nothing under 16.2 hh as she is very tall! Her budget is very good. Anyone know of any suitable horse maybe not yet advertised? Thank you and pm me if you have questions thank you ?

Have you looked at Froxfield Dressage (SW) they always seem to have younger horses in most of whom look lovely. Not cheap though!

I know a seriously smart, Timolin, 3yro gelding who is very good value for money.

I've just bought his, yearling, full brother and very pleased- I wish I had space and time for the 3yro as I'd have snapped him up!

I’d look on the British breeders Facebook page and go direct to any breeders of dressage horses to see what is sitting in their fields.

I wouldn’t be buying a backed 3yo from a producer, they are often overdone to achieve a price tag.

Take a look at Kirsten Mayne Dressage on facebook she has a few really smart young horses in and she is very straight in selling too.
