Hmm, have fallen for a little 3 mth foal...

I wasn't looking for another horse but she's a nice sort, will make arond 16.2 and is on the yard next to mine, so i see her every day. She's actually coming onto our yard with mum today( which is not going to help matters).
She is Friesian x Tb, mother being the Tb which has fab bloodlines and raced sucessfully untill 4 yrs old and was then turned into a broodmare, she is 13 and is in foal again by the same stallion. The stallion is a Friesian from the Gandolphin stud?? ( whatever that means).
Do you think this is a good cross?

I think it depends very much on what you want to do with the foal when it is fully grown and also whether the Friesian is the carriage type of Friesian or the more modern 'sports' type.

My instructor had a Friesian x TB and did really well at dressage. He is related to my horse on the TB side so I have kept a close eye on him.
