:eek::eek:
Today as I went to go fetch my lady's soaked nets that where two seconds from her stable. She was tied up in her stable and the horse next door was also tied up outside casually munching her own net.
Neighbour then unties herself as her owner removed her wheelbarrow and walked straight into my ladies stable!! :eek::eek: this horse has never untied itself before!
The speed I ran! My lady is usually a complete grump with other horses but she just stood there watching this horse walked into her stable...
Saw all this right in front of my own eyes.
No fighting, no mareish squealing. I was so expecting the worse from my lady.
Still in shock. :confused:
Strange creatures!

My gelding went into another geldings stable when i had him out side and was trying to grab the other one to take them both to the field.

Inseat of the fight i imagined they were like hiya, want to share my hay?!

My two geldings squabble and bicker like teenagers over the door between their stables and one is very posessive of food. I have double bolted the door because 1) Alfie plays with the bolts and 2) I feared that if they managed to get through it they'd kill each other.

BF it seems was too lazy to double bolt last night and walk round the barn to leave, and only did up the top bolt (cant reach the second from over the top) Of course, Alfie opened the door and let himself into Ollie's stable. I arrived this morning to find them both in one stable munching on Ollie's straw bed. Absolutely no drama whatsoever. In a panic I whipped their rugs off and did a full check but it seems they decided they'd keep their possessive traits out in the field. Fickle creatures arent they?

best one i have had recently :)

my foal had been gelded couple of days ago and was in at night, looked over his door and found the stable empty!! total panic set in!! looked in next stable (friends very pregnant grumpy mare was next door) and couldnt see him ( in the split seconds it took my heart was in my mouth) , then i saw him :) standing at the back of the mares box!! quickly let her out and grabbed my foaly, couldnt believe it! he was totally fine and i realied he had rolled right under his stable! never ever has any of mine done this before but by god i **** myself :D

That made me laught Alfiesmum! Glad there was nothing wrong!

Must be a day for a change, my two came for their feeds tonight and one that likes to be more dominant decided to pass his stable and go into the second one, fortunately the other youngster just ignors him and walked back into the first stable! Straight aftewards they were sharing a hay pile as close as they could get to each other.

it was scary and funny because my 2 year old was standing looking over foalys door when i arrived as he had been out all night, it was if to say 'mummy where is my brother' lol x

its amazing how your life can be turned upside down in seconds!
every time i put my guys in the 2 year old always is up my mares butt, i have to grab him quick cos i think she would kill him if he got in her box.
