anyone had a problem with a horse being frightened of electric fencing ive had jack 6 weeks but ive had to switch on the fence now as he was pushing through it, now he wont eat his strip grazing at night or the morning what do i do, will he eat it when he gets hunrgy????

yes, he'll get hungry enough... but how narrow is the strip? if he feels really hemmed in by elec he might not dare put his head down. tbh though you want them to be frightened of electric fencing, that's the only way they respect it and won't ever get caught in it.

thanks for reply the strip is wide he is not hermed in atall he has been really unsettle the last few days i dont know why he seems to be worse now than when i got him 6 weeks ago im confused ive had horses all my life but he really baffles me bless him
