Friston Forest Ride in Eastbourne next Sunday?

Hello all,
I know this is a long shot but I'm desperate! Buddy and I live near Polegate in East Sussex and want to take part in the Friston Forest training ride

I sent off my forms a month ago and we're both fit but I can't find anyone with a horsebox to give me a lift. Is there any chance that anyone here is passing by Hailsham/Polegate next Sunday and has space in their box for a docile ex-racer who loves horseboxes more than bananas and carrots? I'm happy to pay, I'm new to the area and haven't built up many contacts yet and no one in our yard can give us a lift. We're so near yet so far....

Hi Cat, sorry can't help you but hope you get there next week. We went to the Penshurst Training Ride yesterday, did the 32km ride and had a great time.

The ride was so well organised and everyone so friendly. I would love to go to the Friston Ride next week but it's a bit too far.
