Well as some as you may know from my introduction I did have two horses - Chance and Lucky, but now I only have Lucky thanks to a busybody on our yard!

Everything was going great - I had him on full loan off my friend who was on the same yard and she agreed that I could have a sharer to help me out time and money wise. I went and introduced them to the yard owner on Saturday and everything was fine. Then the bb turned up and had been chatting with the farmer and then he changed his mind about the sharers and said if I want a sharer then I'll have to find another yard

So I had no choice but to give him back as I don't have time for 2 horses with working full time

I don't think she liked the fact that I complained about her horse and asked if we could split the fields because I'm sick of spending an hour trying to catch my horse because every time I get near her or she goes to come to me her horse chases her off trying to bite and kick her!! The farmer was fine about us splitting the fields to until she had spoke to him - then he said if my horse can't get on with the other I'll have to move yards bacause her horse has been there for 9 years!!

Sorry to hear that you're having difficulties. I've shared at a couple of yards and never had a problem as long as insurance docs etc were provided and I followed the same rules as an owner.

If there are other options in your area it might be worth taking a look... Especially if the herd dynamics aren't working so well. Is this lady's horse the only other in with yours?

I had chance on full loan until I needed help, I've got Lucky on full loan to.

There are 6 horses in the field and she gets on with all of them apart from this one who is a complete bully towards her. It took 3 of us nearly an hour to try and catch her1!

I'm staying at the yard with Lucky as its local to home and work.
