A friend of mine has been advised by our saddler to get a front riser to lift the front of her saddle slightly - is Prolite the only option - are there any other alternatives out there?? Someone mentioned a numnah with a raised bit at the front that wasn't made by Prolite but they are unsure who makes it? Answers on a post card please ! Thanks in advance

I bought a prolite and a wintec- didnt like the wintec- fit was wierd. Prolite is brill it has three different fittings so you can adjust as is needed- and no pressure points either.

I bought the adjustable prolite one to deal with my horse changing shape. There are two sets of pads so you can choose how much to raise by, or you can use it with none purely as a gelpad. It's very versatile and a lovely fit. Is there any particular reason you don't want a prolite?

I just bought a Zilco one (google the word Zilco) and am very impressed with it. Adjustable pads and only £35. Try ebay too for one as I know they have been on there.

I got a zilco adjustable front riser off ebay - just like prolite foam gel stuff with removable pads at the front, but half the price, perfect for while my young boy is building muscles...
