As title says, i am looking at getting a front riser pad. Don't really need a huge amount of lift so something not too thick. Any recommendations would be great, thank you.

Personally, if your horse is changing shape, I would go with the Korrector pad, as you can adjust it to suit the pair of you exactly, even if it is a little more to start with. Either that or the front shim to a balance saddle, made again of prolight gel

Can appreciate that a quick fix is needed if horse is changing shape, BUT personally I would far rather get a saddle fitter out and get the problem sorted properly rather than do this.

If you use riser pads then its not just a matter of putting padding in the hole as it were, you also have to consider the general balance of the saddle and where rider pressure is being applied to the horse's back.

Adjustable gullet saddles aren't always the answer either; they can cause an awful lot of sore backs simply because people tend to do the adjustment themselves instead of using a skilled saddle fitter, plus you can't adjust from pommel to cantle in the vast majority of synthetic saddles and get the problem of it not fitting/bowing taking place.

The saddle is an occasional saddle so not my every day one. However when i can get my saddle out i will get her to adjust it.
