Llwyncwn posted a very good tip yesterday, Frontline for Dogsto get rid of lice. Could you explain more, dosage etc? I have some for the dogs, and think I'll try it, but want to know your experience etc. Thanks! It does say on the box its fatal to use in rabbits! But Wooley is no rabbit!

Got given some by the vet in the spring for some ponies. It's not actually licensed for horses but did the job. We had the spray. We put on gloves sprayed it onto our hands and rubbed it all over.

I've heard of a lot of people using it - successfully - for mites, but not lice, another tip to remember!!

I took in a rescue last year and after she recovered sufficiently, the blighters took hold and it went through most of the heard

Everyone Frontlined their horses, starting at the poll and spraying underneath the main, along the spine to the dock, around the neck and throat areas. Obviously you would spray it on your gloved hand to use in sensitive areas avoiding the eyes etc. Dont bath before or afterwards. Repeat in 10-14 days.

This is what I have done and had much success with the vets recommendation. However, I am not a vet and recommend that you take specialist advice

This is my disclaimer, plus the fact that Im very old and bewildered at times.
