I have heard that Frontline spray is good to use to kill feather mites. Could someone please tell me how long after the first treatment you need to spray again?
Would you need a second lot of Frontline spray or would Pig Oil and Sulphur carry on from where the Frontline left off? Just thinking with winter here might be a way of killing two birds with one stone. Combat mud fever and mites in hairies in one go.
If you're using Frontline spray you can get it off eBay for much cheaper than you get from the vets. It comes from America or Europe as the sale is not restricted there, so posting takes a while.
I got my initial spray off the vet, then ordered the next off eBay while I used the vet's one, it works out a lot cheaper!
I now use Dectomax injections 3 x a year for mites - much easier!
