Hi,I have a Eco Track arena which has been frozen for a couple of weeks now. I wasn't sure if I should try and put salt on it or try and harrow it. Has anyone on got any ideas or have they tried anything which worked? Thanks

Our menarge is frozen over and coverd in snow! - am going to wait until it's semi melted/melted. as the snows so thick in there! Have you not got a indoor school that you can ride in? or a local one you can hack to?

I have no experience with managing an arena at all but we have taken as much snow/ice off the one at my yard, as possible and raked it to break up any solid bits. It seems to have helped.
It is getting softer and softer every time its used so churning it up seemed to help. Obviously depends on the surface and I am not sure what an Eco track arena is sorry.

these are helpful tips, thank you. We have put a power harrow through the lunge pit today, and although it is still hard, it has broken the top layer up a litlle. Any more ideas will much appreciated
