My dog prefers fruits and vegitables to any other food. Literally hard for her decide between chicken wings and a slice of banana next favourite is bean sprouts. Even steals the rabbits carrots.
Fed on raw diet which has veg in it.
Does anyone elses dog do this? Just to check this isn't because I've got a dappy dog.

Yip, my lots scavange for potatoe peelings and my ROTTI, is obsessed with oranges/satsumas:eek: she drools when they are being peeled and she can hear and sniff one being peeled from a mile away, u have to share with her, it's impossibly not to:mad:

I could easily use one is she needed to be trained with them for treats, luckily their is nowt I need to teach her, except to stop accosting me for a bit a tangerine:(

Before I had Mouse back, the lady who owned her came home to find Mouse had emptied and eaten the contents of the fruit bowl and left the chocolate flapjack on the table. She's so not her mother's daughter!! Millie wouldn't have touched the fruit, she'd have had the flapjack!

Bear The Border will munch on raw carrot, apples and the occasional crunchy radish!

When we were on hoilday on the Black Forest in September, he helped himself to blackberries and wild raspberries as we walked through the woods.

I plan on having strawberries in my new gerden next year, but if Bear is anything like Tugg, our old Border, he'll help himself to these, too! So I may have to rethink my plans in that department. Meh! :D

Mine love carrots and peas but wouldn't put it above meat/bones on their request list!

This morning, went to pick some mess up that pads had done and there was another pile next to it that someone had left - knew which was his though as it was full of carrots from last night!:D

Our old and very greedy lab cross collie would eat anything BUT her favourite treat were apples! She would drool like crazy if you were eating an apple and not leave you alone until she'd had the core. It was the last treat I gave her the morning of the day she was PTS :-(
