Still got no idea if I'm going to have my puppy, as breeder and I are vying for the same one (only one in the litter his colour!) - and whilst the breeder may take another colour, I will not!

However, without hearing yay or nay, I can't go pre puppy shopping!

I have an idea of things I want etc, and have been saving my butt off for it all, but would like a bit of help populating the "emergency last minute puppy shopping list" - as I'll probably only end up with very short notice (breeder confessed he only made up his mind on another litter when the buyers turned up! *bangs head*)

Not sure I follow but breeder has every right to keep the pup they want, and to only breed if there are homes available :)

Usual things, collar, lead, bed, safe toys, crate, etc? And whatever food pup is on now.
What bits and bobs can't you get now? At least you will have them well in advance.

There's only one pup I want, CC, it's the only one that meets all my requirements. Unfortunately, the breeder wanted a stud dog from the litter, and also wanted the tricolour!

like I said though, he hasn't made up his mind yet, and although the sire's owner has given me the name of his next wife, all I have is her pedigree, no photos or anything, so I don't know how long it'll be before the next puppy is available! Hence why I don't want to go shopping too far in advance!
 
Ah so you have your eye on the pup itself and so does the breeder? Hmm well, at least if you know its a tight decision - you are getting a good pup :D
