Frustrating...

Is anyone else counting the days til Spring and Summer?! I cant wait for when I can finally hack out often enough so that when I do go out my mare isnt scared of everything she sees and hears!

As my friends and I were saying the other day, we're passed the longest day so its practically summer - it'll be here before you know it! x

Haha thats what I keep telling myself too...its January so really its just this month and Feb then its spring..surely!

I can't wait till its light enough to hack out after work, its 5.00pm by the time I get up to the yard and its totally dark at the minute

I know its awful , im not even that bothered about the sun! and flies and insects annoy me but just the light so I can see what im doing i cant wait for!

Yes I'm also looking forward to some sane relaxing hacking on summer evenings. My mare is far too spooky and unpredictable in the winter and hacking out is a challenge rather than the pleasure it should be. She needs ridden every day really but its just not possible at this time of year.

Yeah I mean I could go out most days if i really tried but the thought of forcing me and horsey up onto the moor in rain and gales I just cant handle! Ah summer evenings/mornings I am looking forward to very much
