Currently doing the national stud diploma at newmarket. but on march 12th when turning horses out, both spooked and one in left hand pulled back making slip rope whip round in hand smashing 2 fingers to pieces
i finished with 5 fractures in bottom joint of ring finger and 3 in middle joint on middle finger on left hand (im left handed grr) surgery happened on 21st march to put plates in and now got tendon damage from having to cut tendons to put plates in. now trying to recover and not been able to work since, reckon i'll never fully clench fist again. seeing surgeon tomo and feeling scared what they'll say and scared about going back to stud work.
at least still been able to do course theory work, trying to write essay on ai in thoroughbred so any help or thoughts would be helpful
