Has anyone bought one of these off ebay, how are they quality wise?

I'm thinking about this one for my pretty TB:-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FSS-Germa...Horse_Wear_Equipment&var=&hash=item43b5dcfbd9

He has a dainty dished face so I like how it is patent but not too chunky and it has a comfort head piece.

I'm slightly addicted to bridles, this will be his 4th bridle but he doesn't really have a nice one for flatwork and this looks reasonably priced.

Thoughts?

Not great quality - the leather was fine (once fed a bit ;)) and the stitching has been OK, but the hooks in the billets were not properly fixed, so when you try do it up, they flip sideways. I cursed a lot

I still use it - it was fine for the price - but just never undo it to clean as I know what an annoying job it will be to do it up again.

Wouldn't buy another, I would go for one of the Heritage ones instead.

I had a FSS bridle, it was really quite nice, for the price at least. Soft, flexible, all sound stitching etc, didn't require any more work than any other bridle I've had (less than some 'better' leatherwork I've had) and the fit was nice. I used it daily, it cleaned up very nicely and after about a year or two I sold it on at still a reasonable price tbh with no complaints from the buyer. :)

i use one for every day, xc and showjumping i just polish it up for a comp its great as i am not too precious over it as i am over my showing bridles
