Some of you may have read I've been having some schooling, confidence and using the wrong RI issues with my cob Fudge.
Today the RI that has been teaching me for the last 7 months on her schoolmaster came and rode him, as I've been struggling to get to grips with the spooking running backwards and spinning at shadows whilst schooling and was beginning to wonder if we were the right match
She said he has lovely paces, is responsive, has a soft mouth and that I just need to keep his concentration on me and be a lot more confident as I'm more than capable of coping with the spooking etc and able to bring him on myself (he's a green ten year old).
I was all prepared for her to tell me he'll never be good enough to show or do dressage and is too much for me. (she's very honest bless her)
Even better, she says he's one of the nicest cobs she's even ridden
So she's coming to teach me on him and ride him herself to help me iron out the 'problems' once a week after my other lesson
