full chaps over half chaps

I've jsut been out far a ride and when I was putting my waterproof chaps on it made me wonder do you still wear your half chaps underneath your full chaps or do you just wear the full chaps on their own?
Can you tell i'm back at work bored now!!

yes I have done in the past as full chaps don't give the same amount of support

Summer I wear half chaps, winter I wear either waterproof fleece lined full chaps with long waterproof boots or suede full chaps with Ariat work boots

i wear them both over the summer as i dont feel as my waterproof chaps keep me secure enough doesnt make much sense but i like the support from my gaiters
