full cheek snaffle catching on noseband

Hi folks,
I bought a new horse last week and he came with a comfort bridle with a crank noseband and a full cheek snaffle, I have found that the metal cheek pieces sometimes catch under the noseband when riding. Is there anything I can do to stop this? my yard owner has checked my bridle and assures me it fits correctly and it is pieced together properly.

crank your noseband a little tighter?! or put some keepers on the cheek peices and fit the cheeks in?

Have you got fulmer loops on the bridle? - loops especially to hold the bit arms in place? if not, I would get some, should solve your problem.
