Full Livery Owners...

My yard charges £114 part and £145 full. Full includes basic exercise and tack cleaning ontop of part livery.

Part includes: stable, grazing, rug changes, mucking out, basic grooming, one bale of shavings a week, hay/haylage, hard feed from a limited range, on/off walker, holding vets/farrier, lorry parking, good facilities (indoor school, XC etc)

It's a slightly mass-production type of livery rather than bespoke 1-1 hence relatively cheap for what you get.

I pay £730pcm. It includes everything except for exercise (so grooming, tack cleaning etc. are included) and covers hay and basic hard feed, also box parking should I want it. For that price I could have a straw bed or a deep litter shavings bed, but I am paying an extra £18 a month for a big fluffly shavings bed. We have two outdoor schools, one indoor school, a cross country course, show jumps, horse walker and reasonable amount of turnout given we are in London.

I was offered another yard for £120 a week (excluding exercise, grooming and tack cleaning) but had to go for the other one in the end as the cheaper yard didn't want you on the yard before 8am, which won't work for my schedule as I'll often need to ride before work.

Yes but you pay per month ... I pay per week!!!
But even so, for what is included, I think £114 per week is reasonable.

Ah i read this as per month! The most expensive full livery yard in my area is £325 per month!!!!! My previous full livery yard was £260 per month with horse walker, x country course etc. This will be all down to location as we are pretty rural.
Diy in our area averages at around £60 per month!

I'm lucky as its my friends and she produces her own hay etc with the help of some v friendly local farmers. I provide my own feed.

I pay £420 pcm for keeping my exracer on full (and payed 720 for both boys when i had roscoe too). I get groom, rug change, feed 3 times a day (bar his supplements), a lot of hay or haylage, shavings bed (big), lunge once, ride 3 times (i ride fri sat and sun), a person there for vet farrier and dentist, lead in/out, we only have a smallish school but also have direct hacking onto the south downs. As well as this my yard regularly has demonstrations for free and low fee clinics. I know im pretty lucky and would never dream of keeping my horse anywhere else, the care is second to none :D
