I would have thought the YO would have taken holidays in to account when sorting their pricing. So no - don't think you should pay extra for full livery. If it is part or assisted livery then paying extra is understandable
I would expect it to be in with the price. After all if its a gorgeous summer evening and the YO leaves them out overnight for a change I don't go asking for money back as she didn't have to muck out the next day!
If its DIY or assisted then it is fair enough to ask extra for holidays as YO's are people jjst like us and also need breaks.
I do charge double for Christmas day if I catsit over the Christmas period - but that is one week a year I work for that client and if there is no public transport on that day I will have to walk an hour to the house and an hour back which obviously takes me more time than usual.
I am on 5 day livery , so on Bank Holidays even though I pay just the same on those weeks £108.00 I have to do all the services myself, muck out turn out and bring in.
!!!
No, i dont charge extra. Everyday is the same all year round. can't expect people that may work on a bank holiday to do there own horse, so why should you pay more. Its the nature of the job.

No, every day the same, including Xmas day. I tend to do George myself Xmas morning, and every year I have an argument with YM as she argues I'm paying for it and I argue back the customer is always right
I haven't been charged extra for the bank holidays... but now you've got me wondering about Christmas. Livery is so difficult... I know what you mean about not wanting to rock the boat. There are loads of little things that I'm not happy with on my yard but the horse is so settled and my YO is my trainer and is bloody brilliant. I feel if I left my horse would go to pieces again and I would lose an excellent trainer so I just try not to let the little things get to me. xx
