Full livery which includes riding, grooming, tack cleaned etc (sorry to state but people have different ideas of livery terms) is around on average £150 + a week.
I'm looking for some one to share my private yard (surrey) and would charge £30 aweek with hay, but my mates pay £100 aweek, near T-down for part livery (5 days) and another pays £30 d.i.y without hay-shavings my sister pays £25 d.i.y in kent and also another mate pays £35 d.i.y....
I pay £600 per month plus a couple of extra's, just moved yards to go on full livery, received my first bill last night and it was £783 but that includes extra bedding for set up of stable and a couple of extra days and the use of the equissage.
full livery round here in surrey is about 600 per month on average and that's the expensive yards
there are cheaper around 550 permonth for full and less if you don't want the yard to ride your horse - which some people want 'full' livery but don't want their horse actually ridden by staff at the yard
My old yard was £150 a week part livery (everything done except riding and tack cleaning). That was in Headley (Epsom). The quality of care was second to none, the horses were always spotless as were the stables, the turnout was also amazing and we had great facilities plus brilliant hacking. Worth every penny and I would go back tomorrow if I had the money/ it was closer!
