whats the market for this like at the moment? looking for a friend and cant seem to find anything, is there specific websites I should be looking at? or is full loan's difficult to find?

I would have thought you would find one quite easily as selling is a nightmare at the moment. My friend has just put her ad. dressage horse on loan and they are paying for it in instalments for a fraction of what he should be worth.
Having said that I had 3 failed loaners and would not bother again as the horse was great but they all had problems with other things and sent him back at the drop of a hat.
