I have been asked to do some market research and thought there was no better place to do it!

How much do you all pay for part / full /schooling livery and what services are included.

Also how much would you expect to pay for extras such as:

Plaiting
Mane Pull
Tail Pull
Tack Cleaning
Bathing
Full clip
Blanket clip
Bib clip

Thanks in advance!

Sarah as you know is very reasonable - Stinky cost me £100 a week. I did take up loads of bags made up for his daily supplements and a bag of green gold, purely as I wanted him to stay on his current grub.

He had full livery and schooling for that, including his beloved warm showers.

Plaiting - mane and tail £10 - assuming horse easy to do and about 9 plaits in the mane. If wanting tiny dressage plaits, then £10 for the mane. £5 each end.

Mane pull - that would depend on how much was required so I would say anything from £2 for a quick tidy to £10 for one that needed maybe two sessions. Ditto tail pull. If using a rake, I would charge less as they are so quick.

Tack - £5 for bridle and saddle - and would want them taken apart completely and metal polished.

Bath - £5 and if a nightmare to do, ie sponge and bucket job £10. Am assuming quick scrub of body plus mane and tail but using the hose. If a hairy like Stinky - £15 - all that extra hair take a while

If show preparation, ie warm water, several rinses, coat conditioner, whitening socks, brushing and shine etc then £10 or £20 for a hairy.

Full clip - £35
Blanket - £15
Bib - £10

These again are based on being presented with a clean and easy to do horse. Filthy or difficult, add £10 plus
