FUMING - Derby house ugh idiots!!!

Grr I had trouble with DH. My good were fine - but they use Home Delivery Network to deliver.

If you google them one of the first things that comes up is how crap they are....
 
I ordered a browband ,from DH ,last October along with some other stuff. The other bits arrived 4 weeks later (after a number of emails ) but the brow band never turned up . When I called to complain(January) they told me they had cancelled the order in november as it was discontinued. Stupid idiots never told me though.

I had this with them twice now refuse to use them. I now use other places instead and dont seem to have this problem at all.
 
Interesting to see so many people have had problems as well.
Tried to ring them to complain...guess what....they had put their phone onto fax machine mode

god this is so refreshing, derby house used to be brilliant and i still flloishly use them but always order by phone cos it is like .."computer says nooo" nothing is ever in stock, funnily enough we had a long lead rope turn up today that was ordered in MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bloody useless, i have emailed to tell them so when they have emailed me about things now out of stock, needless to say no-one ever replied!
 
I had them too!
I ordered (online) one 6'6" rug for my horse....which seemed to go through ok. Next day I get two e-mail confirmations...so I phone them, saying I only want one rug...they say...you are too late we have posted them both....if you didn't want two....you should have contacted us more quickly....
I tried to point out that I had contacted them as soon as I got the e-mail, but they didn't want to refund me.
Then I got shirty and told them I would tell every student I ever taught how c**p they were - instant refund!
Never again!

I ordered an exercise rug last year which never came. When I rung them up a couple of months later they told me the item had just come in on the delivery and would be posted within the next week. I wanted it for that weekend so rung round other shops who told me there was a hold on making the rugs and no-one had them in stock. Rung back DH and told them, they said they didnt have them in and denied saying they did!

They are total and utter crap, their customer service is appauling.
 
They were much better this time for the rug I bought in their sale but I did have to wait for my mane and tail rake for two months and each time I phoned was told that it would be in in the next 7-10 days and once they said my card had failed but I been paid the week before and I knew this was a lie and said as they were trying to take payment had my item arrived but it hadn't. They always seem to send out the not so important items first and make you wait for the rest. On a positive note for me, the cost of postage for sending out 5 smallish but quite heavy items must have cost them more than me.
 
last year i ordered something from them (can't remember what- i think mountain horse boots) and i waited ages, i finally rang them up to chase them and they said they never had it stock! It took me ages to get my money back to. Although i ordered a fly rug in july and it came within that week, ordered another rug today so will see how that goes,they have one last chance with me then thats it.
 
Ooh snap! I got a phone call on Monday or Tuesday to say they had cancelled my order which has been outstanding since 1 May 07. The absurd thing was i had ordered 2 of these items and they had sent me one in July and when questioned where the other one was they said that the order that came in wasn't enough to cover it! Surely its common sense to order enough in to cover the oustanding......obviously not!

Have to say i didn't phone back this time as couldn't trust myself not to lose it with the poor person who would anwer the phone, the last time i did my work colleges were in fits of giggles at my rather dry, sarcastic voicings

just recently had to cancel my XMAS present order! useless. they have some things in now that id buy but dont want to use then again as i actually want to recieve things i order!
