Fun and Games / Gymkhana / Suggestions please

Ok I have ended up "incharge" of organising a fun games day at the yard for the kids (well teenagers 14/15) during the easter holidays

Dosent need to be huge scale as theres only 3 or 4, but it would be great to get everyone together in the name of fun

obviously going to do the regular games

egg and spoon / sack/ W,T,C,L / Apple ducking etc etc etc

but I want to do something a bit differant and really fun

anyone got any ideas

Not really wanting to do any jumping, because the kids are at very differant levels and it may get too competative / ruin it

wheras no-one has done games before so should be a laugh (I will of course be joining in "to make numbers up" on my super cob )

Aim for Maximum fun with minimum effort

any suggestions

Set out an obstacle course (like handy pony I guess ? )

Musical sacks is always a great one .

Organise your sacks into a middle of a circle , Everyone has to have a leader on their pony , Start walking around to the music , Once music stops , Jump of pony and jump onto a sack , Removing a sack each time until there is 1 sack left .

Whoever doesnt get a sack is out .

Always great fun .

Apple bobbing, sweets in flour (preferably in that order :&gt.

'Tap and out' - can be done with trotting poles or small jumps, keep adding poles to the line, anyone who 'taps' one is out. Make it harder by taking away stirrups etc.

Musical ride (remeber doing these every year on PC camp, complete chaos, but soo much fun) - Need at least 4 people though.

as the are different abilities etc, i would still make it competitive but, i would do it as an overall total, so if one person is better at jumping they might have a pony how can't do musical statues, this will even it out

mirror jumping, set up 2 small courses the mirror of each other, its jumped in pairs

also how about a drill ride, like they do in the army trust me it is harder than you think i have done a couple your mum could be sarget major!
