We went to our local village show this afternoon, after work, had the dogs as they come to work with us so entered a few classes for fun.
We're both trained in nutrition for dogs and cats, so I always enter Best condition - my whippet won it. Then he and the terrier were both placed in the handsome dog/prettiest bitch. The spaniel won the obedience (she is trained to the gun), she didn't put a foot wrong in the ring, off the lead, sat, stayed whilst OH walked around the ring, came to whistle etc etc, very proud of her, and then the terrier won the judge would most like to take home! So we had all three in the championship, and the terrier came third.
Very good day, lots of fun, with many people me know, had a great laugh... and it didn't rain!
