We had a photographer at the XC clinic on Sunday and he's just uploaded a brilliant short video of the day.

I think it shows well the sorts of things we did and how much fun we had doing it!

(dont be too harsh on the riding, there was a range of abilities and we are all learning)

Enjoy!

Brilliant! I must admit I did have a few chuckle moments but really well done to you all! I would love to have a go at something like that this year:)

that was fun to watch! The little piebald with a lot of black looks ever so much like my new boy :)

The horses were all very good - that queuing up business can get them pretty excited!

as for the riding, there was not one fault there that you wouldnt have seen from me at least 50% of the time - like you, I'm learning!

The little cob is also from my yard and it's the first time her or her owner have ever been to xc and she's only jumped her at home a few times. They did really well :)

As for the queueing - actually all the horses stayed quite calm. Our instructor (who hunts) says it's important from them to learn to wait patiently. Kasper is super chilled up until you turn him towards the jump, then he wants to go!

Aaaahh excellent, is this the same time you were wearing your headcam, or did you go again?

I bought my horsebox from near Kidderminster but am in Surrey, so it's a bit too far to box my horse up to, it looks like a lovely course though.

It's the same time. You can match up the jumps on my headcam video to the jumps in this video. Annoyingly i forgot to turn my headcam on when we did the water, he jumped the gate really well and i missed it!

They are advertised on Facebook- I've just realised I know the instructor because this video came up on my feed. She's based in Worcester.
