Fun rides in Cheshire

Does anyone any know good fun rides in cheshire which i could take my 4yr to dont want to jump just have a nice canter etc..

Kelsall Hill in Frodsham is fab.

Iv been to the 1day event there i didnt know there was a fun ride aswell with have to check that out its so nice round there.

Definately Kelsall hill, its fab! Loads of canter opportunities and short option if he tires quickly. Lots of baby jumps too if he can pop 6 inches.

Cheshire horse's directory for what's on is also fab.

Hi,

I like Mitchell's, near Malpas (01829 720428), + Somerford and Smallwood are also great. Marian Bach is also very good, but further afield, in Caerwys. It's a shame Weetwood is now closed - probably because of Kelsall Hill's close proximity?

Anyway, stick with true horsey venues, run by horsey folk, not non-horsey farmers with government hand-outs, is my best advice!

somerford park is a wonderful hack, provided you can get your horse to walk through a streaam.
I nearly got a dunking in that stream when pony decided it would be fun to roll in the middle of it!
